The area of Naldehra has been well known since British times for it’s alpine forests and green glades, as well as a warmer place to be in winter and cooler place to be in hot weather. Lord Corzen fell in love with the alpine and fur woodlands and its green meadows, where local villagers’ used to graze their cattle in 1905. He loved the area so much that he even named his daughter Alexandra, Alexandra Naldehra, after the area. At the same time, in order to spend time in the beautiful hills of Naldhera, the Curzons created a golf course to play on.
Naldhera is now famous for tourist walks and horse-riding in the woods and has a few hotels and restaurants. You can have a round of golf on Naldehra Golf Course, which has an 18 holes course.
